ACS TRAINING   &   ACS ASSESSMENT

What is ACS?

The Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) is the industry recognised and accepted route for operatives to gain a certificate of competence needed to become a member of the Gas Safe Register. ACS covers all areas of gas work including: Domestic NGLPGCommercial heating, Commercial cateringMeter installation and emergency service provision.

Why ACS?

New & existing engineers must prove they have the skills required to install, maintain and service existing Gas appliances/pipework plus correctly identify any unsafe situations & be able to protect life and property in dealing with dangerous appliances and or situations.

The engineer will have to prove they have maintained technical competency through a strict assessment programme over a number of days. All assessment centres should follow the same rules when carrying out these tests.
